"Here we are." Arthur said, setting down the tray of tea on the coffee table. You smiled warmly at him.
"Thanks Arthur." You said. "Nothing like tea in the afternoon."
"I couldn't agree more." Arthur said taking his seat on the couch next to you. Just as he reached for the tea pot to pour the tea, all the lights went out.
"Bloody hell, what's going on?" He asked looking around for some sort of an explanation as to what happened. You looked around too, thinking that it was probably Alfred, or Frances playing a prank on Arthur. Your eyes fell on the window, and a little light of comprehension dawned in your head.
"Oh." You said getting up and moving to the window. Arthur gave you a confused look.
"What is it (name)?" He asked from across the room.
"It's raining." You explained, moving the curtains away from the window. Raining was a bit of an understatement. It was down right pouring outside. The rain was falling so thick and fast, you couldn't even see across to the other side of the yard. No wonder the power was knocked out.
Arthur walked up behind you and looked out the window.
"I guess that explains it." He said quietly. A grin was spreading across your face. You glanced at Arthur. His eyes widened at your expression.
"What are you planning?" He asked you. You said nothing, and took off running for the front door.
"Wait! (name) come back!" Arthur called after you. You didn't listen to him as you pulled the door open and dashed out into the rain. The cool spring rain splashed against your skin and cloth, getting you completely soaked in a matter of seconds. You closed your eyes and tilted your face up to the dark gray sky, letting the rain wash against it.
"At least put some shoes on!" Arthur called from the door way. You looked down, and realized that you weren't wearing your shoes. You shrugged and skipped off, splashing in the puddles.
"Now where would the fun in putting shoes on be Iggy?" You giggled, loving the way the water felt on your bare feet. Arthur sighed as he watched you.
"You're going to catch a cold love." He said, and you just shook your head.
"I'm fine Arthur." You said, pretending to be a ballerina and dancing around. Arthur couldn't help but smile at you.
"What are you doing?" He chuckled.
"Dancing." You chirped. He laughed, and you stopped dancing and looked at him. "You can't tell me that you've never danced in the rain. It's so much fun!" Arthur folded his arms across his chest and leaned up against the door frame.
"No, I haven't." He said plainly. You stared open mouthed at him. 'How has he never done this?' You thought. 'What a stick in the mud. We need to fix this.' You held out your hands to him, smiling warmly at him. He cocked an eye brow and gave you a questioning look.
"What?" He asked.
"Come dance with me." You said.
"W-what?" He asked again.
"You heard me." You said, still holding your hands out for him to take.
"B-but-" He started to protest
"I know you know how to dance, so what's the problem?" You cut in, narrowing your eyes a bit.
"But the rain…can't it wait? Or you know, we could dance inside." He suggested. You shook you head.
"Nope. It's gotta be right here, right now. Everybody's gotta dance in the rain at least once." You said, darting forward and grabbing his hands, pulling him out into the rain with you. You let go of his hands and danced off. After a moment, Arthur mimicked your actions.
"There you go!" You cheered. Arthur grinned at you. It was good to see him loosen up, even if it was just a little bit. After a few minutes Arthur pulled you close to him.
"This is fun." He said. You grinned.
"See? Told you! You just gotta loosen up a bit more sometimes Iggy." You said rubbing your nose against his. A soft chuckle escaped his lips. He gently brushed your soaking wet hair from your face.
"That's why I've got you love. You show me how to have fun." With that, he placed a sweet and gentle kiss on your lips. 'We gotta go dancing in the rain more often.' You thought.

That Could've Gone Better
You were invited by your best friend Arthur for a Call of Duty battle followed by an all night horror movie marathon.
It has been a while since you have seen each other due to him studying in England for a few months and what better way to greet each other again than to blow each other's brains out on COD and watching some supernatural movies. You didn't really like the slasher ones, they were getting a little too cliche but you did admire the prostetics that were used.
You got your stuff together after you finished dinner and headed over to his place. You walked up the half-hexagonal porch and rung the door bell

International Dance: HetaliaXReader
You couldn't believe it..
This just ..This can't be!
You re-read the elegant letter you held tightly in your shaking hands. As of now, you were officially entered into the "International Dance Competition" held in different places across the world! Without another thought, you packed up all your bags, not leaving behind practically anything from your hotel room, and getting ready for the first stop: New York, New York!
Next Morning 6:00 am : Day one: New York, New York!
"Are you _________?" The show host, a pale blonde with a puppy dog print piercing asked, looking through some of the papers on his clipboard. You nodded, extending your

EnglandXReader: I Don't Dance
You sighed as you turned your back to the mirror inspecting the ridiculous dress from all angles.
“Why am I even doing this,” You muttered then mentally slapped yourself. You were doing it for your crush who invited you to a dance.
Should I take this as some sort of a message? you wondered. Actually your crush was a secret crush, because he was also your best friend.
Arthur Kirkland. British guy, he even has an accent, with blonde hair and green eyes that just make you melt when ever you see them.
You bit your lip, “I can’t even dance,” you complained to yourself.
You just accepted the invitation at the though

"Life isn't about waiting for a storm to pass. It's about getting out and dancing in the rain." I'm not sure where I heard this quote, but I love it, and its what sparked this. Lol I wanted to write something, and this is what I came up with, I hope you liked it. It's short, but sweet.

It rained twice today...^^
I saw the title and immediately clicked it. It's true for me. I went out in the rain without socks or shoes, in the dark, and I hurt my foot. It was still worth it!!!~ Then, at school, I got SOAKED. I was uncomfortable for the rest of the day, but it didn't really bother me!!!~
Awesome story!!!~
